I've never had problems with Cable connectivity, unless I take the 
server down. Since I run an IRC server, there would be people 
complaining if it went down :P

I wouldn't run a server on Telecom's ADSL though. My cable modem 
reboots in 30 seconds, which happens sometime in the morning most 
times.
