Well, there's the nzwireless.org guys, and the nzwired.net guys (whom I 
am one of)...

Although IMHO if you're trying to do "community broadband" stuff then 
being wireless-centric isn't a brilliant idea - wireless gear is 
expensive and slow, and a good way to initially connect far-flung parts 
of your network... but you'll run out of bandwidth unless you want to 
provide jetstart-like speeds.  And that's not something that really 
interests me :-)
