Not a bad idea, but IMHO it should be facilitative & not restrictive. Very
general with a firm statement about everyone's right to their own opinion.
If the goal is to say that Linux users who want this are OK but those who want
that can go somewhere else, then I'm not in favour.
As long as it is about & for Linux & users of Linux in a broad sense (incl
other Open ource software), it should be within the umbrella of WLUG. IMHO, any
mission statement should have some of Damon's words about harmony & common good
in there.
The assumption is that there will be some activities individuals are not
interested in, perhaps some that other members disapprove of. So what? They are
still Linux users, as much as anyone else. We need to co-exist.
