An interesting & amusing article: his almost computer illiterate wife 
has to install Win2k & Mandrake 9.2. Quite a comparison. The educational 
& helpful Mandrake install process, despite a few issues, somes out the 
winner.

This might help explain why Mandrake is rated highly for novices- not 
just hardware recognition, which many distro's manage, but the advice, 
feedback & explanations along the way actually making an install a 
positive experience.
