I won't mention brands, as that could be consif=dered as advertising :-)
It is worth noting, however that some brands do not work after going through an
airport X-ray (& other brands which seem fine). There also seems to be a
variation in general robustness (physically), reliability (as regular need to
reformat the thing as it becomes unreadable), and compatability (as they have a
shape which won't fit some recessed USB ports).
I think it is generally fair to say that some of the cheaper brands are false
economy.
There are a few interesting options floating around, combination pens/drives,
etc, & Victorinox have released a Swiss Army pocket knife with a USB pen drive
included... Toys to please many a geek :-)
