Yeah. I told them. (Besides there are paradise dudes on the list)

That basic problem is the install tech didn't do his job properly. He
never tested the new install. And I wasn't there to do it for him.
Making sure that the ethernet settings are correct for the modem should
be one of the tick boxes that he ticks.

Oh well. All fixed now. And it's the first problem of any kind I've had
in 2 years. So to be fair, 99.9918% percent availability is pretty good.
But if they'd ticked the boxes at install time, it would have been
99.999% which would have been far more impressive.
