I get 1.4 - 1.5Mbps downing off the CityLink FTP mirror.
I used to have a SB4200, but TelstraClear upgraded it (for free) when we
moved houses. We now have a small Motorola black thing.

Couldn't resist sticking my five cents in :)
I'm connected by a Motorola SB4200 and haven't had any problems with
smooothwall using a DSE 8139. My connection is nominally at 256kb/s, but can
go higher when the God's and Paradise are smiling :)
I think the best I have had so far is 580-600KB/s. Before you ask, that is
not
a typo. Absolute heaven.
