Me wonders how Smoothwall 2.0 Express would run on these boxes?

3x Ethernet means RED, GREEN and ORANGE (DMZ).

Might be something to play with when I have time and money.

I can support this. The Green is truly ugly.

Soekris=Good. 

Umm, Leaf Project in these things for those of you who aren't afraid of
the CLI.

Simon told me about these things months ago (to which I am grateful),
and my little pile of router snot has been going non stop ever since
(after some major flashcard wrangling).
