[wellylug] Faulty Moniter

hi all,


I have a moniter which has started emitting a really high pitch whine. I
think it might be a capaciter about to go...


Details:
Samsung SyncMaster 753DFX
0.5 years old.

Problem:
Moniter emitts a high pitch whine. I noticed that viewing certain
colours (eg: white or dark blue) changes the loudness of the whine.

Attempts to fix:
I turned it off & unplugged it from the mains for a couple of hours.
When I plugged it back in, it went fine for about 3 days, so draning the
circuit appears to help, which makes me wonder about a capaciter.


It's proberely a hardware fault so I'll have to take it into the shop
for repairs. However, has anyone ever had a problem like this?
