[wellylug] Install a Linux .bin archive

OK...The .bin file is an installer for a Liebert Smart UPS, and yes I trust
the source because I downloaded it off their website.

It's either that or try using the NUT UPS module.

Where did you get it from? The only .bin I know of is Sun's JDK - it 
comes in a self extracting archive to make you agree to the EULA. You 
need to do this:

chmod 755 file.bin
./file.bin

but not as root. Make sure you trust the source first - it could well be 
something narfarious.
