Why not large cap mushrooms with a nut-based vege filling
(pre-prepared) lightly grilled. Or the same but using capsicums?

Sausages have meat in them (or some minced parts of animals anyway)
and cereal. That's what makes them sausages! Ersatz sausages are not
*really* sausages.
