[wellylug] End of Year BBQ

Hi All...

I have the OK from my parents to use our place. If someone / people have
BBQ's they can bring (we only have a 3 burner).

If people bring their own food / drink and also a couple of people help with
clean up afterwards.

Our neighbours may or may not attend, I will ask them over the next week as
I see them.

Our place would be not good in the rain as we have no cover, except for the
garage.

We also have wireless internet if people want to bring laptops.

My parents will accept no resposibility for people getting drunk or for
getting people home.

I can probably provide the outdoor area. We have a huge shared drive way and
I can get the neighbours involved, so that should handle the BBQ's also as
we have a couple of multiple burner BBQ's between us.

Okay, I'll organise it unless someone else wants to do it.

I'll set up a basic page, on the website soon.

The page can just list details, and also allow people to list attendance
- we need to know how many people are going to come, for the amount of
food to get.

With dates, how about the 27th & 28th of December (the days afterboxing
day)? These days will be public holidays, because christmas falls on a
weekend, so hopefully most people who want to come won't be working.

Currently, I would like anyone who can lend any equipment (Such as a
location, BBQ's, bowls) or provide stuff like paper tissues, sauce, etc
to send me an email.

With location, we idealy need a fairly large place which allows for good
& bad weather. We could always hire a comunity center or something which
has a large inside & outside.


With the food, shall we use some lug funds to buy the basics?:
- some sausages
- bread
- coke
- chips
- sauce (unless Geraint can grab us some) :-)

Then, anyone who wants specilised food (eg: vege sausages) or extra
types of food can just bring their own. The lug funds aren't doing much,
and many of the people who were helping at the last installfest (who
made most of the funds) will proberly want to come. Might as well use
some of the cash.


If not, we could do it that each person volunteers to bring some of 1
type of food - sausages, coke, etc.
