An application I wrote myself, that is CPU-intensive, and intermittantly
MySQL-intensive. I'll try killing it, but I don;t expect it to make a
difference.

It's quite possible there's a DMA issue, and that MySQL is busy. We've had
all sorts of trouble with this batch of hardware, including DMA errors on
some machines. I'll look in to that.
