You can use CloneDVD to copy one DVD9 onto two DVD4.5's I have yet to
try it but the option is there, I assume suse would get crappy about
missing files and when it does you just swap the discs

Anything is possible if you try hard enough, or sometimes it just works
if your lucky

And would prob screw up the file info for the SuSE install?? It uses a
disk ID
etc to ensure the correct disk is inserted, and has a YAST compatible
RPM
database of packages, location & dependencies.

You may well be able to split the DVD into 2 single layer DVD's, but
getting it
to install could be a bit of work...
