[wellylug] Linux friendly wireless pci cards

Hi there
I am attempting to build a mesh network, either using a MeshAP setup
(www.locustworld.com), or mucking around with my own ad-hoc routing
algorithms etc. To do this I need to use a wireless card that can run
in Ad-Hoc mode. I really need a Prism2/2.5/3 chipset - at present I
have been using an Atheros chipset but this has a buggy ad-hoc mode
when using madwifi drivers, and is completely unstable using
ndiswrapper ( i prefer to stay away from that anyway). The problem is
however, it seems the vast majority of cards are no longer made with a
Prism2/2.5/3 chipset - so my question is, does anyone know if there
are any available in New Zealand ANYWHERE?!
I should note that I have found one, but this is PCMCIA -
(http://shop.borg.co.nz/product_info.php?cPath=24_23&products_id=56) -
and I would rather not go through the additional cost of purchasing
pcmcia - pci adapters since I need a minimum of 4 cards. I need pci
cards since i only have PCs to work with.
Thanks for your time
Jono
