hi there Jethro,
I am looking at upgrading my Palm M100, which I syncs fine with Linux - I am
currently using J Pilot under Mdk, but did have it syncing OK with evolution
previously. I was looking at the Palm Tungsten E, but am not considering an
Acer PDA from DSE, which runs Palm OS4.1, so would expect it to still sync
with Linux OK. These have 16mb Ram, plus an external media slot, colour
screen and double as a MP3 player. Most importantly they are only $249,
which is $200 cheaper than the Tungsten E. I haven't actually bought one
yet, but am likely to within the next week or so.

Could be worth checking out.
