Hi,
I'm running debian sarge with cdrecord 2.01a19.
I've recently been in the business of making frisbees/coasters.
cdrecord would bail after (insert random amount here) megabytes of
writing to a new cd.
I googled and discovered the magic words:
hdparm -d0 -c1 /dev/hdd
hdparm -d 1 -X 34 /dev/hdd
So, if any of you were having zero luck creating your backup cd's
(cough), then this might help.
Thanks to this, I now have a fresh copy of morphix on cd. If anyone
wants a copy let me know, and we can arrange terms.
