Hi Brent,
I would be very interested to know how things go once you get your hardware.
I am thinking of buying something much the same, however, need to find out if
VMware works on a 64 bit system like this. So, when you get it all go, I'd
be more than keen to bring a copy around and give it a try.
Best of luck with getting it going on a SATA drive. I'll bet that Linux 2.6.1
or newer is going to be better at getting it working anyway, if there is
problems with it.
