If anyone is thinking of using this .. Go for it.

Works like a dream!
(Apart from the speed)

I used KPPP (tried to use pppconfig, but it would not allow a few things
that needed to be set up) to set up the dial and as the card is seen as
a modem to Linux, you just put another init string for the APN name.
