Another option is IPCOP, and also Mandrake Firewall as well, which is available
as a free download, I've never used it so I don't know how good it is though.
It all depends on what features you need etc. With IPCOP theres plenty of
options to add extra services via some additinal programs that people have put
together for it, including ad removal etc. Or you could use your favourite

IPCOP is just as simple as Smoothwall.
