I'm not too big a fan of KDE, but thanks, as I was planning to
eventually bunndle KDE with it. This will save time, however, KDE is a
dream to install compared to GNOME. (check out all the packages!)

I've also finally rebuit GNOME & GDM & but I still have the GDM problem.
It might be a problem with my i386 base, so I'll load a i686 base I have
lying around and see if that works... 

I'm going to play around with it a bit and see if I can get it going.
