Well, it was made entirely by Jethro, which is no mean feat.  Isn't
that special enough?  I think it's great that we have someone within
the LUG who knows the tricks and pitfalls of putting together a
distribution from nothing.  Jedo Linux is also exceptionally fast and
sparing on memory (at least vs Redhat).

Short summary of what I heard/saw:

* Installs using perl scripts, built on a Morphix base.
* Base install is a Linux-from-Scratch base with 2.6 kernel (in
.tar.gz packages)
* Almost everything beyond base is in .rpms, selectable individually.

It currently fits on a single CD, and runs on Celeron, Duron and up.

(Did I get that right Jethro?)

A few rough edges, but it looks good to me.

By the way, Damon also gave a very interesting presentation about
Plone, which looks a seriously good package.
