Point taken, perhaps these companies would like to reinvest some of
their corporate profits into developing the relevant hardware drivers
for the 'broken' Asus motherboards. Oh wait that's right these are
companies that are trying to save themselves but adopting Linux to try
and beat off the competition from Microsoft and they probably don't have
a huge amount (or possibly any) profits to spend yet. Perhaps they will
one day.

My 'view' on hippy was backed with _my_ definition of hippy which I
still stick by in this particular situation. There are a huge number of
Linux users who want everything for nothing - perhaps this is more
Communist than hippy. I mearly used the word hippy and my definition of
in in this situation for illustrative purposes.

Facts are always open to interpretation, I mearly interpreted the
'facts' differently in this situation than you did, this does not
necessarily make me wrong. I still maintain that the original article
referenced is laughable and written by a nuch of whingers that want
everything for nothing.
