Aye.. I have indeed experienced this. ;)
Good on you all there at DSE.  I gotta DSE 802.11g card that had linux 
on the box.. didn't work outta the box with my machine and no manual 
etc with Linux.. but happily gave me right of return.. even with box 
opened, and driver CD left at at Vic Uni.. etc etc.
