[wellylug] Firefox 0.9 - Comments and bugs found(one solved!)

Found out firefox 0.9 had been released recently last night so I went to try it out.
First time load I was impressed, it imported the bookmarks/history from 0.8.
Note to the curious profile is now kept in ~/.mozila/firefox from ~/.phoenix
The default theme is also much nicer, seems to pickup my gnome theme nicely.
Then I went to install themes/extensions.
Ohhhh boyyy!
The long and short of it:
New extension/theme installers are nice, however are *still* lacking a proper 
close button when there's room for one.
One extension failed to work until after I'd reloaded firefox and killed it off 
a few times!
Two firefox installs hanged on startup after installing some extensions on "Fire 
is finishing installing extensions, this could take a minute" (A message close 
to that.)
I suggest adding extensions one at a time, and remember some wont be updated 
yet, a new(as in one I havn't come across before) site is availible for 
extensions/themes: http://update.mozilla.org/

Firefox now supports smb:// through gnome-vfs stuff if I remember the features 
list correctly.
However! Logging into a flatmate's machine went fine, smb://MEDUSA , firefox 
asked for user/pass and that worked, what REALLY got me ticked was the infinite 
windows popping up for user/pass when I tried to enter an actual share. The only 
solution to this was to kill firefox nastily. I have reproduced this on password 
protected and unprotected shares, results are the same. Except pressing cancel 
works(as opposed to ok) on the unprotected shares, on the protected ones it 
crashes the browser.

Ooh! mailto: links now work as well(just need to configure this:D)
Using the -remote command is now handled like this:
firefox -a firefox -remote "openURL(%s,new-tab)"
Preferences is now under "Edit"
Preferences for themes/extensions are now under "Tools"

If anyone finds a solution to the smb problem let me know, although I'll 
probably keep to xsmbrowser for viewing shares.
