[wellylug] Distro of choice

Hmm, that's a lot of food for thought. You've now convinced me that I really
want to try Debian, Slackware and Gentoo - but one at a time. Although - I
do have a spare 5GB partition on my faster (windows, games) machine, and I
currently have RedHat 7.3 on it. I could quite happily drop Debian on that,
and Slackware on the much slower, 20GB drive in my other machine.
As for smaller distro's, I have taken a look at a lot of them, but there are
so many it's difficult to know what's good and what's not. I have to admit
I'm fascinated with the idea of a distro that runs happily off a floppy! I
figure I'll try some of the big guns, and give some of the little guys a go
at a later date. At least that way I'll be able to say, "Yep, I like what
they've done here, obviously inspired by the Slackware
something-or-other..." and so on.
Thanks a bunch for the help and advice.

    Nick
