[wellylug] Looking for a easy to use firewall package

Hi,

I've been driving myself mad (slowly) trying to find a well designed firewall
package for a dedicated machine. I've tried Mandrake Network Firewall, but
with much luck.

<rant>
it's web based interface does not prevent me from breaking it. What tends to
happen is that I add what seems like an OK rule, and then press apply..
either it stops working, or does not apply the rule.. when I login as root, I
find out it's configured something in a way that Shorewall does not like, so
shorewall does not start..

</rant>

so, does anyone have a suggestion of a better firewall package? The things
that I need are:

-	Simple interface to control firewall
-	Bandwidth throttling, QOS
-	dhcpd server
-	basic stats
-	ability to forward stuff, as I run a server behind it, that will be sitting
on my lan (I don't have a DMZ and don't want one)
-	Something that will run on a P133 with an 850MB hdd.
-	inside my network, I need stuff like ICQ filetransfer, video conferencing,
ftp, kazaa, etc, to work.

I am trying to keep away from the configure scripts, etc, as I want other
people in the flat to be able to control it if needed.

I've looked at  http://redwall.sourceforge.net/

but don't know how good it is and how easy it to config.

Any suggestions?
Glen
