This may be of interest to some here. 

I have build a data browsing/analysis/mapping suite from a collection of
interoperable Open Source GIS software. This was to support the needs of a
research project.

I will be talking about GIS & Open Source GIS, with particular reference to the
suite I have working, at a presentation on Thursday.

LUG one evening.
