[wellylug] Toshiba Tecra A2

I am about to go out and buy a new notebook, the one I'm looking at is a 
Toshiba Tecra A2 with the following specs....

Intel Celeron-M 320 (1.3Ghz with 512KB L2)
256MB PC2700 DDR
Intel 855GME * ICH4-M
NB: It doesn't have the wireless 802.11* part.

So I looking for any warning bells from my fellow LUG'ers to say this 
won't work with Linux.

I'm going to take in a Knoppix CD just to give it a once over but from 
what I have seen it should all work apart from the wireless part (which 
this model doesn't have anyway). My primary concern is that the builtin 
10/100 ethernet will not work properly.

Any advice would be most appreciated.
