Sam, thanks very much.  In the end had to give up with arm wrestling the
thing and instead I just dumped a tar of 1.1.2 on the server and ran
setup.  Shouldn't make *too* much difference as OOo from tarball is
pretty self contained, so upgrades on the server should have little
effect.
