1. PIC Timer circuit activates motor every x minutes
and y seconds (length of CD).  
2. Motor spins momentarily, pushing rotating hand left
and down, extending spring
3. Finger hits play button on CD-ROM
4. Motor shuts off after predefined interval
5. Spring retracts hand
6. Repeat!

You wouldn't believe how long I have spent thinking
about this one. :-)
