How much of samba do you know?
You need to use the command '/etc/samba/smbpasswd -a [username]' to add
a user to the linux box.
Once the server is set up, it will appear like anyother windows server,
on the network.
Here's the conf:
SMB.CONF:
[global]
server string = Michael's Server
workgroup = Michael
security = domain
encrypt passwords = yes
# This section allows the users to access their home drives
[homes]
writable = yes
browseable = no
