No never. I've used IP cop at home now for about 12 months and have 
never seen this ... or any other problem.

More details would be good .....
How do you connect, cable/adsl?
What sorta hardware, network card etc?
what else is on your network?
got a dump from log files?

I've used smoothie 1.0 and it's cool too. No problems like what you're 
experiencing
