Actually there's a third far more attractive option.  The Wellington
Perl Mongers meeting is in the same building and starts at 6:00 so 
rather than 'dorking about' LUGgers could have come along last night 
to learn about the Maypole web application framework, as well as a talk 
introducing Python.

Some of us married-with-children Perl/Linuxers find that one 'late pass'
instead of two is more palatable to the significant other.
