Well after ages reading, and looking at how it was set up on the windows
machine, looking at the serial communications flowing back and forth
from the application to the phone,

I have discovered that the phone uses the standard AT command set , well
not standard, but AT Commands...

I then went and had a read up on a few pages, that were for other
devices, but not this one in particular - more on USB Modems and not
phones at all... ..

Anyway, I tried a long shot and put into the kernel 2.6.9:

USB Serial Converter support
			    USB Serial Converter Support
and
USB Modem (CDC ACM) support

I am not sure if the first one is needed but it was part of what I was
trying so figure I will leave it..

Anyway, I cat /dev/ttyACM0 and it didn't say, No such device ... but
worked..

So went into Minicom and hey , what you know.........

Init the modem, ati gave me information about the phone, and I
disconnected the phone and what ya know.... /dev/ttyACM0 no longer
existed..

SOOO Now time to build Multisync for Evolution and see what happens..

Cheers...
