How so?  I was a big fan of Ami and the way it handled styles.  I always
felt that MS Word made it too easy to not use styles and indeed most
Word users just individually format each paragraph.  

I use oowriter exclusively these days and I've got to say I'm not in
love with it.  The toolbars (like Word) make it very easy to do the
wrong thing while the stylist makes it unnecessarily difficult to apply
styles - the worst of both worlds.  The main problem I have with OOo
styles is I don't understand the model that separates out bullet and
numbering styles - why can't I just select a 'Bullet 1' paragraph style
and get bullets?
