He's talking about a Domain Group - ie a security entity in a Domain,
not a workgroup/domain name which is what I suspect you might be
thinking of. Unix has no real concept of a Domain (except if you
include Kerberos Realms I guess, not knowing a lot about them).
A Domain, in the Windows sense is a sort of uber-security level, which
enables someone to login once and get security rights and privileges
across the whole Domain, no matter whether the actual Domain resource
is in Alaska or Auckland.
