hi all,

my 5 year old desktop is due for a replacement, so I'm looking at the
componants that I want.

I have a couple of questions:

- What does 'Active PVC' or 'Passive PVC' make a power supply do? Is it
worth getting?

- I want to get a good quality sound card for music through a 2:1
speaker system. Is an Creative Audigy2 any different to an Creative
Audigy in terms of sound quality? I don't intend to record music or use
surrond sound, so features like these are unneeded.
