[wellylug] simple firefox question

Hi

Its either firefox/mozilla or some weird lan dns misconfiguration

I reinstalled firefox on my xp pc and it resolves http://wombat to
http://wombat/.nz
weirdly on both ubuntu and xp if i add a sub directory to the name it
resolves to the FQDN
eg http://wombat/ss resolves to http://wombat.webcoda.com/ss


I am confused

That seems extremely unlikely, I havn't seen *anyone* in the ubuntu userlist
or
irc channel or anyone anywhere else even mention a problem such as this.
Perhaps though you could try asking in one of those two places?
