The target was September 19, but they've been a bit slow to squash
release-critical bugs, so that might get pushed out.   Soon, anyway, I
hope.  You can install Sarge right now though, and just wait for any
updates.  Security updates have been going into Sarge, to my
knowledge, since August, so that removes one of the normal
disadvantages of using the testing distribution.

Re ext3 availability in Woody, I dig the fast reboot times after,
e.g., power failure, but I discovered the hard way that the 'recover'
tool doesn't work with ext3.  That's confirmed in the ext3 FAQ, where
they say the best bet to recover accidentally deleted files is to grep
the partition.  Ouch.  I do good backups now.  (recover works fine
with ext2.)

By the way, I just noticed this thread has over 30 posts.  Nothing
like a distro war to get us luggers crawling out of the woodwork eh?
