Subject: [wellylug] suppressing sshd connect string

I think I've googled my own answer to this question, but I'll ask it
anyway.

Is there a way to suppress the string that sshd returns when you connect
to
it?
For example, if I telnet to my box on a port sshd is listening to I get:

  SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.8.1p1

coming back.

I'm wondering if that can be suppressed without resorting to modifying
the
source. Google says no, since its part of the protocol.
