Why don't you just use cfengine and do it yourself?  That's what we
did at transmeta... (when I worked there, that is!) I can't tell you
HOW it was all done, but once an update was verified, we pushed it out
overnight using cfengine.  Worked for linux and solaris.  Of course,
when I say "we" I mean the Mid- and Senior-Admins. ;)

It was pretty funny actually... RH 7.3 was out and we were still
running RH61 with just about everything updated to current.

Of course, you could've used debian, too, but their support isn't
corporately provided like RH's is/was...  Another option you have is
to look to Progeny for continued up2date service...
