[wellylug] cron lock file ?

Hi there
I have a couple of cron jobs. They work fine, still, I did modifiy the time 
to start /etc/cron.daily and it seems that the script is executed at the new 
time and the old one, e.g. I get 2 emails notification (daily) that makes me 
think that it is done twice 

I hav edited crontab -e as root, but just wondering if there is not a trace 
of the old crontab somewhere.
