I'm not sure I agree with the main topic being _the choice to use_
linux, as opposed to just _using_ linux, but I agree that it is
probably inevitable that legal and/or moral issues will crop up on the
list from time to time.

For anything more than the odd incidental post though, there is a
place that addresses this issue specifically -- the NZOSS list.  By
all means take your simplistic scaremongering ("the sky is falling!")
there.
