This is probably a fairly basic question for someone to answer but then 
again I'm a fairly basic guy.

My setup is...

A cheapo DSE router 
http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/en/product/XH1151
which has a Ubuntu Hoary Linux x86 server and a Solaris 9 Sparc server 
hanging off it.

What I would like to be able to do is intermittently allow for a remote 
guru based on the internet to login to both of these systems and do 
'stuff'. At the same time I obviously want to minimise the chance of any 
nasty people hacking my system.

This will only be used very rarely so I would like to know the best way 
to go about this. I've never gone into this remote login stuff before so 
I don't even really know the right questions to ask. Any help would be 
appreciated.
