[wellylug] OT: 802.11b/g wireless access points or routers

Please excuse the off topic nature of the question but I suspect there are 
a few here who deal with wireless devices all the time, probably best to 
reply to me direct rather than the list.

What are the best under $200 802.11b/g wireless access points and wireless 
firewall/routers?

My definition of best just concerns reliability and signal strength, 
features aren't that important.

My reason for asking is that I've had a play with a DickSmith XH8287 (are 
these things a re-badged something else?) and are a bit appalled at the 
lack of range.
