(It's hidden in the middle of the thread, because Rob seems to have posted to
the "Invitation to participate in discussion about a national Linux
body" thread rather than starting a new thread for his new post.)
My assumption is that the "must pass 10Mbps" is related to the VPN
crypto speed. If it's a case of "must be aboue to route at 10Mbps and
do a slow speed VPN" then the WRT54G(S) hardware might do. (As I said,
my WRT54G(s) will do 2Mbps or so crypto, and others have said it'll
route up to about 10Mbps. That 10:1 (unencrypted:crypted) ratio seems
about right given the CPU power.)
