Jethro - dynamic IP's are almost always an automatic block.
You should _always_ be using a fixed host as an SMTP relay, if you're seen 
to be sending mail direct from your dynamic IP you will get in trouble. 
Guarunteed.

If you're an ihug customer all email should be sent to smtp.ihug.co.nz for 
outbound purposes (independant of where your email is hosted).

Exception would be where you are able to relay mail from a static IP 
address (and even then, if the static is associated with DSL or Dialup its 
not usually wise.  Frame Relay or other commercial grade is what i'm 
talking about).
