My google-fu is not strong with printers, but I turned up a couple of things:

- You can use any C40/C42 driver.  The C45 is functionally identical.
- www.linuxprinting.org has lots of drivers and help for different printers
- If yours is a Epson Stylus C45, and the above info is correct, then
you should be able to use the gimp-print drivers:
