A bit more of my opinion - I would say it's a distro that says it's a distro
for newbies, and other people read that and pass it on.
Also, it endeavors to be 'windowsish' to appeal to M$ Windows users, but it's
not. The file system mount points were part of what gave my friend fits.
Better to just work with a good modern Linux distro, instead of one that
pretends it's Windows. IMX, Kubuntu does a fine job for newbies, and you
have that perspective on Man* (<=they keep changing it).
